I found your site when I was reading about Nikola Tesla and read an interesting comment about how one of Lovecraft's short stories was supposedly based upon Tesla. The short story was Nyarlathotep. After reading that story here and then The Whisperer in Darkness I am now hooked on his writing.

Sorry about the name "skavenhorde." I know it's not that imaginative but if I have too many screen names I tend to get confused so I just stick to one.

My overall exerience with Lovecrafts work is purely game and movie based. I've played Alone in the Dark, Shadow of the Comet, Call of Cthulu and I'm pretty sure there was one other but the name escapes me right now. I also saw two great movies "Dagon" and I believe "The Resurrected." (Not sure about about name of the second one)

I also played a P&P game "Chill" a few times a looonngg time ago that I know now had some heavy influences from Lovecraft.

So as you can see I don't know too much about his work but the more I read here, the more I'm hooked. Are there any particular books you would recomend I get to begin with?

Edit: Just remembered the other game.I played "Dominions 3" has a Cthulhu based civilization.
