Well, hello there. Just thought I'd introduce myself and all that jazz.

I'm a huge Lovecraft fan and have been for a while now. I'm not exactly sure how I discovered him or even how long I've known of him. I think it was around the beginning of High School though. I'm in college now so that makes it 4ish years. Sadly I can't share my fanaticism since I'm from North Dakota and almost noone here knows who he is.

Blah. My favorite is Nyarlathotep, hands down. Then it would have to be Azathoth.

Hmmm. Don't really know what else to say.

Hello, Mordae. Welcome to Mythos Tomes. I have to say that I share your enthusiasm for Nyarlathotep, both the character, and the short story by that name.

I'm a bit surprised that you can't find anyone at your college who knows of HP Lovecraft. Maybe that's just because of my own experience. I first met others who were familiar with HPL and the Cthulhu Mythos in college. Are you at a small school?

I think there is one person around who likes Lovecraft but as of yet I do not think I have met them. My roommate had one of their books so I know they exist.

But yea, the school is really small. Maybe 1,200 on campus. And I'm being generous there. About 200 are foreigners, mostly Chinese, so I'm sure very few if any have heard of Lovecraft. Sad really.
